How to mix your own ceramic casting slip
Step 1: Place 16l of water in a large container
Step 2: Add 130ml of deflocculant (Alcosperse/Sodium Silicate) - if you dont have any, we have you covered!
Step 3: Stir to ensure it is properly mixed
Step 4: Now add the 40kg bag of Slip Powder
Step 5: Test the density. If density if below 1.7 (add more clay). If density is over 1.75 (add more water).
Step 6: Leave to mature overnight. NB: Strain before use!
